The heart of the house is a traditional hundred-year-old highland cottage, precisely dismantled and moved from the village of Leśnica, built by Jędrzej Łaś in 1925 from half-meter-high beautiful spruce logs. The old rooms have beautifully carved beams and antique furniture. This year in June it will be the cottage's centenary! The house was built according to the principles of traditional highland construction by builders and carpenters from Kościelisko. All windows and doors were made by a famous carpenter who won the Tatra Brand in the field of traditional highland carpentry. Building a wooden highland house is a whole mystery. Knowledge and extraordinary skills are passed down from generation to generation. I invite you to the hundred-year-old kitchen for a sit-down with coffee and homemade cake, with a view of the Tatras!

In our apartments you can spend a wonderful winter or summer holiday, as well as a weekend. Here you can escape from everyday life and the hustle and bustle of the city. The house is located almost in the Tatra National Park. The nearest famous trails are Morskie Oko, Rusinowa Polana and Gęsia Szyja, a little further the trail to Hala Gąsienicowa from Brzeziny. For other trails you have to go a little further to Zakopane, Kościelisko or Chochołów. Slovakia also boasts plenty of trails, walks and must-sees and the Poland-Solvakia border crossing in Jurgów is just 10 minutes from the house, via a friendly shepherd's hut in Jurgów where you can sample fresh cheeses from May to October. On the other side of the Białka River is Spisz. A wonderful land with a complicated, difficult, interesting history. In Spisz there are many uninhabited, beautiful hiking trails and unique, historic churches. In Zakopane, cultural attractions await. You absolutely have to see all the branches of the Tatra Museum, the Educational Center of the Tatra National Park and you can also drop by the Witkacy Theater or the Miejsce Cinema. In winter, you can start ski touring or cross-country skiing right from your front door.
